The incident took place in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. The lady known as Faith 22-year-old from Nasarawa State, was said to visit her boyfriend who reside in Abuja where the incident took place.
It was gathered that the suspects who live in the same neighbourhood as of Jabu village of Dutsen Baupma, Bwari Area Council of the FCT, barged into the man’s room, wielding dangerous weapons like machetes and cutlasses and held him captive while they took turns in raping the girl.
It was reported by the Daily Trust, that it was not up-to an hour the lady arrived in Abuja, when one of the suspects claiming to be friend with the lady's boyfriend came to visit them with two other accomplices.
After the crime has been committed, the three men ran away and the lady’s boyfriend went to the police to report the case and the suspects were later arrested. They all agreed to the crime when they were interrogated by the police.
The Dutsen Alhaji Divisional Police Officer (DPO), CSP Aisha Yusuf, confirmed the incident, saying the case had been transferred to the State CID.
