Today, being Thursday, March 17. It has been reported that three (3) soldiers have been shot dead in Abonnema, Akuku-Toru local government area in Rivers state.
According to IGBERE TV, A major of the Nigerian Army and three other soldiers has been shot dead. They ran into an ambush set up by militants and were killed.
It will be recalled that the governor of River State, Nyesom Wike had earlier said, anyone attempting to rig election against his People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidates will be killed.
Nevertheless, today PDP held rallies all over River State.
